Invitation wording short and sweet lymrics

  • Baby, baby, little one; brighter than the morning sun.
  • A baby is laughter, love, joy, and pure delight!
  • Ten finger, ten toes, and a cute, little, button nose.
  • Bows and curls, we’re excited to welcome, two baby girls!
  • Giggles and yawns, their having two baby sons!
  • A new baby to love, it must be fate; and a great reason to celebrate!
  • Less sleep, and lazy days; but more joy, in a thousand ways!
  • A family of two is lots of fun; and so blessed, when you add a precious, new, little one.

The Miracle of Becoming a Mother:

I didn’t know the words to this song.

But there was something familiar

about the melody-soft and light.

I didn’t know the steps to this dance.

Because it pulled at my heart, instead of my feet

I didn’t know your face.

And I wasn’t even aware, you held the

answers no one else could ever share.

The song is love.

The dance is eternal.

They’re a part of me forever.

You taught me both.

The answers were suddenly there-

the moment I heard you cry your

very first breath of air.

Timeless Baby Shower invitation wording ideas…

A Child’s Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep.

May the angels watch me through the night, and

keep me in their blessed sight.

An Irish Prayer

May God give you…

For every storm, a rainbow,

For every tear, a smile,

For every care, a promise,

And a blessing in each trial.

For every problem life sends,

A faithful friend to share,

For every sigh, a sweet song,

And an answer for each prayer.

“You were made perfectly to be loved – and surely I have loved

you, in the idea of you, my whole life long.”

“Light tomorrow, With Today!”

– Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Footprints in the Sand (This classic poem can be given as a gift. Or it can be included as an option for Baby Shower invitation wording ideas).

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

“LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you’d walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don’t understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me.”

The LORD replied:

“My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.”

-Mary Stevenson (Zangare)

Baby Shower invitation wording ideas can be silly, and still have heart…

It’s going to be a sight to see-when mommy and daddy to-be, trade the sports coupe for a minivan or an SUV.

We’ll tell them it’s O.K.-it’s really quite normal; after all, “Baby makes three”.

Did anyone tell them, their clothes may be covered in drool-and going to bed early on the weekends will actually be cool?

So, let’s give them our best and help them prepare-for the love of a lifetime that’s far beyond compare.
